Side Project: Tibbs Custom Amiibo

A fun project I did on the side, as a present for a close friend!
I wanted to use every skill that I’ve learned so far to create something very unique that was going to make her smile. I researched other amiibos, sketched out a concept, sculpted and 3D printed the character, designed and cut out the backing card, and reused a blister from a previous amiibo. I even painted the 3D print! She draws this character a lot, and loves playing Smash brothers, so I wanted to bring her character to life. The goal was to get it as close to a real amiibo as possible.
